Tempering

Tempered glass is a type of safety glass that has been specially treated to strengthen glass by 4 to 6 times compared to regular glass. When broken, tempered glass will usually shatter into small fragments instead of sharp shards, making it less likely to cause severe injury and deep lacerations. As a result of its safety and strength, tempered glass is commonly used for exterior & interior doors, windows, table tops, countertops, railing systems, flooring, partitions, and much more.
